    U and I both know that we know what cables to run for what it's needs... Depending on loads 10 socket 2.5 ring final 10aockets 4.0 radial 10 point lighting 1.0 - 1.5 The regs is to be followed I agree but to calc every cable size!! Bit silly When ppl with experience already knows And so on

    Lol it's not an actual question just a general rule when installing a cooker in a domestic house. Above was a example, I was making the situation up.. Ur average cooker is 4-6 kw ? Correct So if you no the cooker is 6kw then how many of you would automatically think 6mm cable???

    No it's not a grid. installed a grid of the ring. Only feeds ex fan dishwasher and frige. Very low power. Feed off the 2.5 / 6.0mm haha

    Hello, Got a bit stumped to day. Extended a ring in a kitchen. When to 2nd fix and discovered that there is a 6mm feeding what I think is a junction box and then the ring goes out from there. Any one seen this before? End to end reading of 0.12 l and n!

    Don't really understand what binks is on about.. Doest feel right ect lol. As I have said it rare to see a earth so low in size with 16mm or 25mm tails. All I ask was what do I think the code would be. That was all.

    This is where I get a lil confused. So what If it was installed about 10 years ago. it's still a reccomedation. We test to the regs now not 10 20 years ago. If that was the case every instal is fine
