hi  as has been said forget cheap in line signal meters, they are as much use as a chocolate fire guard i find the signal meter on box works best ,move l n b  in one axis  till you get best signal and it wont go any higher and dose not drop ,then do the same with other axis ,also rotating l n b...

hi i have several large drums of bt multi core cable can i use this as lan cable ,

lol yer they use those on the front part of master socket  but they have screws on the back half for main line onl two wires

crimping on ends only works on solid cat 5/6 ,stranded cable wont stay flat lol
