good evening, I have to run a feed to a shed on a TT installation.The cable is clipped then buried. I have 2 questions. 1- I'm using a henley block to feed the supply. do I need to RCD the cable at source and then just mcbs in the shed ?. 2- Can I use 2 core and add rod at the shed?. Cheers.

here's the scenario, a smoke alarm on its own circuit,the only bit of the circuit buried behind some plasterboard on top of the CU in the cupboard under the stairs, the rest is all in the ceiling void or the cupboard between floors. does this circuit require RCD?.

Good morning , checked a socket yesterday and measured 244v between L/E and 168v between L/N. didn't have time to check it further as I am going back tomorrow to explore further AND just wondered what to look for apart from the obvious. as it looks like a spur.
