110v or 230v Dewalt radio

I'm looking into buying a dewalt radio. The radio i'm after is available at 110v or 230v. Am I right in saying that the 230v radio can be plugged straight into an extension cable but a 110v radio would need to be plugged into a transformer?

Will the 110v radio then need a 3 pin lead to plug into the transformer?

some 110v stuff comes with plug. others dont

my question to you is, do you do domestic work or commercial/industrial.

I'd go for 240v personally, as with the strict way sites are run nowadays even though there will be 110v on tap, radios are 9 times out of 10 banned.

and for such occasions... i have a 110-230v transformer.

or as ive done on other sites with no 230v, used a TPNE to SPNE adapter

IMO woolies 240v radios took the least effort to work on 110,

simply change the plug,

seems to be an inverse thing,

cheaper the radio, easier to get it to work on 110 it is, mine is still going 2 years later with both leads available, 110 and 240.
