guys

does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes such an animal with 16amp double pole breakers??

found this on another forum

"You could try an 18w db fitted with dp mcb's fitted to L1 & L2 and a blank fitted to L3 and then work your way down the board then terminate the 110v mains onto L1 & L2 of the db disconnector

yours benji "

is that an accepted method??

dont see anything wrong with that suggestion. maybe see if a split phase board exists with only L1 and L2 busbars

It does.... In America. Their supply is 120 either side of neutral with dual breakers for big appliances like cookers or washers. (240v)

Not seen any two phase DBs here in the UK.

not seen them here either, but its not something ive looked for. they can probably be made to order though form somewhere

just an fyi really

i got a merlin single phase board today along with an adaptor pack that takes the neutral bar accross the top and down at each mcb point. you pick every other point and insert dual mcbs.

really easy i also got a duplex board for another job that has more than 6 sockets.

hats off to them but they just call it a double pole board not 110v
