After options on installing an evcp on a split load board.
In short, mcb installed on one side of board, type a rcd installed, thru an stand alone spd and then thru matte to evcp.
I understand it should have its own rcd for discrimination, but does anyone know of a way to install them in a split load board?

Less than the 50mm .
T&E behind plasterboard along the route to the outside.
I've always regarded the 50mm figure as applicable to cables plastered into walls rather than loose behind plasterboard. My advice is that you should make an assessment of the likelihood of someone putting a screw through the cable where it is located. If the cable run is behind plasterboard at the back of an understands cupboard, no one is likely to scre anything to it. If it's running at picture hanging level in the lounge, then it's a possibility.
