Hello ,

I just want to thank to all the lads here who shared thier knowledge to an L PLATE carrier like me, I have passed the exam on 2330 202 , second time though. i am still not convience though because I was aiming for the D mark , but overall i only have a passed mark , not good :( , anyway just a bit of a share for those who will take the 202 exam to be carefull because it was not as easy as i thought , before hand i bought a materials for practice test in the internet and paying

Congratz on passing the test.

You speak some wise words there as well.

The tests are randomised for almost each sitting of the exam, sample questions are good for revision providing you fully understand its just a mock up.

The only way to succeed in any test is to have a good understanding in the first place.

Any weak parts you should concentrate on, and ask people to explain it in plain english to you.

It is amazing when the penny drops and you fully understand, you start thinking why you got so worked up about it.

My weakness used to be getting the right formula for each calculation, until I saw it worked out on a blackboard I was dreading them, now it does not worry me.

I would probably fail most of the tests now its been so long:^O:^O

there are loads of questions used for each exam. its just luck as to which of those you get. and the person next to you will get a random slection too, so you may have the some same questions in different order, non of the same etc...

for most of my exams, the lecturers has loads of past papers which we done in class which was a big help. most of the stuff on there was on the exam. some questions re-worded, but the figures were the same so just a case of remembering the answer from the class, or quickly working it out.

Am I reading this right?

Why are you going to retake the exam if you've already passed it?

At the end of the course you will be issued with a Pass or Fail.

Move on and concentrate on the next unit.

Hi tim,

I just heared in the college that you can retake the exam to have the D grade although you have to pay

Its your call. I have 1 exam left, distinctions in everyone so far it is nice to get distinctions, however not sure future employers would be that interested. Like I said before when you finish the course you get a certificate that says 'Pass' even if you got distinctions in every exam.

Just be careful that you don't get behind, if your revising for the last unit your can't be giving your full attention to your current unit. Theres a lot to take in, in one year just bare that in mind.

City and Guilds design the course so you revisit certain areas throughout the year with more detail. It might take a couple of looks at some of the areas and the in will suddenly click.

Anyway good luck with your studies.

Tim
