Hi Everyone,

New to all this . Could anyone tell me the difference between a fused switch and a switched fuse (diagrams would be appreciated) please

Thanks

A Switch Fuse is where the fuse is alongside the switching mechanism.

A Fuse-Switch is where the fuse(s) are mounted on the switching mechanism itself, usually by some sort of bolted connection.

Thankyou for the quick response Searley.. Yeah think I got it now ..seemed abit too obvious when your in the exam though

Thanks again
