About me
Looking to gain first hand practical experience on the job, with a view to gaining a long term mentoring from you.
I'm based in the Berkshire area, I'm 45 years old, early background in mechanical engineering and electronics then moved into IT some years ago.
C&G 2381 & C&G 2391 certified in 2006 and currently embarking on 17th Edition regs update.
This is a long term personal ambition to become a fully qualified and competent electrician, but I have no set timescales and am doing this in parallel with being in full time employment. I am doing this off my own back and at my own expense.
What's in it for you:
- won't cost you anything
- reliable and diligent approach to work - proficient in use of hand tools and will do a neat and competent job
- own clean van, testing equipment and tools
What's in it for me:
- keep my knowledge churning over so I don't forget everything I have learnt !
- first hand experiences of the practical methods/approaches to tackling jobs, ie the things you don't learn out of a book/course
- if it works for both of us, I get a long term mentor to learn the trade and build up my own portfolio over time
The small print
I know it's not ideal, but unfortunately due to full time job I can only work weekends and evenings, but am willing to take the odd day or half day off as required, so I am committed.
Please PM me for contact details if you think we could work something out.
