Hi all,

Im also doing my 2391 course starting on 12th March. Ive been studying since christmas with GN3, BS7671, OSG and the exam success book. Ive had no practical experience so may be ive bitten off more than I can chew, I got

you do know this is a blind[closed book] exam and you are not allowed anything with you when you do it?

the 2391 is alledgedly a hard exam with somewhere in the region of a 30 or 40% pass rate, and this by experienced sparks (mostly)

which version of 2391 are you doing?

Im not really sure what you are aiming for with this programme :|

Hi mate have you done other electrical courses like the 2330 level 2 & 3? Or 2392 is an easier version of the 2391?

Hi lads,

Yes I have got my 2330 level 2 and 3, 17th edition. I did consider doing the 2392, then it was the cost of doing the 2392 then an added cost to do the 2391. So I thought I would through myself in to the deep end and register on the 2391. Ive had the big red book, the red on-siteguide and GN3 since 2008. I also so considered doing the 2394, 2395 and 2396 but the costs and length of courses disturbed me slightly. There is no difference between the 2391 and 2394, 2395 and 2396 as the testing and inspection principles are the same as set by the regs (current edition and previous).

City & Guilds 2391-01 level 3

I am aware the the written exam is a closed book hence why ive studied the BS7671, GN3 and exam success book.

Ive downloaded the 1st amendment regarding the new forms (EICR etc) and have studied them relentlessly as they will be used in the exam (1st amendment Jan 2012). The forms are pretty much straight forward

The program pasted above was originally drafted using microsoft word in black & white, with colors aswell.
