gulp.

These electrical courses provide first class information in a presentation style format for the first course, and a word course notes style for the second course.

The courses should be tackled slowly and the information taken in week by week, the 2391 exam is one of the hardest electrical exam you can take in the U.K. it has a pass rate of only about 10-20%.

If you follow this course carefully you can easily pass your 2391 or any other electrical exam as these courses contain info relevant to any electrical course in the U.K.

The course should be followed as listed below:

Week 1 & 2 - Inspection & testing basic

Week 3 - Instruments & testing

Week 4-6 - Inspection & testing advanced

Week 7 - Earthing arrangements

Week 8 - Earthing Calculations

Week 9 - Certification & inspection

Week 10 - REVISION QUESTIONS 1 & 2

Once you have completed this you can go into the word course, you should be able to follow this easily after the 10 weeks. Spend another 5-6 weeks studying the word course.

Once you have completed this course you will need to sign up for an exam at a local college. You should pass easily if you follow this course.

i need every bit of help i can get :)

apparently 33 % chance of passing it .. i hope the retest is not to expensive.

I have already done the fundamentals of inspection and testing 2392 I think? :|

The 2391 practical is not too bad

Full inspection and test of a three phase distribution board with a sub ccu supplying other curcuits.

An inspection board to identify 12 faults

an isulation resistance test and

a Zs measurement ... confirming conformity.

The written paper is a whole different kettle of fish ......

though after doing countless past papers Im as prepared as I can be . :|

Good luck Sarni.

I did 2392 a couple of weeks ago and passed so gave myself a rest from the books while the sun was shining.Getting started again ready for 2391.

Apart from GN3, got any other recommendations for books/sites for info.

Cheers.

Cheers for that. Do quite a bit of testing so the practical side of things doesn't worry me too much. It's engaging the brain that gets me every time.
