hi i have my test n inspection and fault finding exam tomorow and was just wondering if you removed all the covers on sockets consumer unit etc etc during a visual inspection? or do you just remove some of them!

also are the faults hard ones or are they easily found using the usual tests?

I done mine last week and we took cu lid off for visual but weren't allowed to take socket fronts off (something to do with the faults being seen) but it's not hard mate. Visuals bonding was wrong side of stopcock and other simple things like that. Faults when testing were no continuity on bonding broken ring about five faults in all but yours may be different. Hope this helps mate
