Hello folks,
desperately seeking some advice regarding my PV/battery install which was completed last week.
Installer quoted me for 6kwp PV with a 9kwh battery. They could only actually install 4.7kwp as well as the 9kwh battery due to roof size limitations.
They claim they only have 3kw or 5kw hybrid inverters available and because 4.7 is less than 5, they gave me the 3kw.
Obviously this means for substantial clipping during the summer midday sun.
Is this level of under sizing acceptable in the industry or should I be pushing them to either provide a larger 4kw inverter or add 1 more panel to get me a 5kw inverter?
Any help greatly appreciated!
