So what are their roofs made of?

I could understand an arcing connection setting fire to tinder dry cedar shingles.

But I very much doubt it could set fire to my concrete roof tiles.

More information is needed before you can make any meaningful judgement.

there are plastics on back of panels, but think you're right dave - might end up with a few scorch marks
