London Underground mate - I think for the 690V, I know LU runs at around that voltage for certain.

I was going to post an interesting answer, but have had a drink or two, so when read back was not very interesting at all. Needless to say I have seen a few 690V supplies around the London area on larger buildings of multiple use.

naw, they use 692, thats maybe why their kit didnt work properly,

you supplied the wrong voltage? :slap

actually, on this subject,

how should we go about seperating the opposing phases from differing local substations?

that would make for some interesting voltage readings.

I have only ever once been on a site where they had multiple local substations and as it was of absolutely nothing to do with me at the time I never even thought about it,

but its something that has struck me about this.......

It seems, by the time this year is thru, those figures will be found on petrol station forecourts the country over
