I've just completed a sparks training course and now looking for gainful employment in the Leeds/west yorkshire area. Redundancy gave the opportunity for a career change, which was probably coming anyway!

Fellow Yorkshireman - excellent.

I used to work in a foundry, but the work dried up (it all went to India/China) and the business shut down. I didn't enjoy it though and was wanting a change anyway! Hope to find a job as a sparky soon!!
