Proposed new work to large house involves providing new circuits for kitchen - large induction hob, 4 x single ovens , warming draws , RFC , lighting etc etc.

Existing installation has evolved over time and is spread across a few henley-blocked fuseboards currently from single phase supply.

New 3 phase supply to be installed due to cutout replacement which will also cater for increased demand.

I really dont want to get involved with the existing mess so I'm considering adding a new CU on separate phase from everything else for new kitchen - which probably wont give perfect balance but I'm trying to find a pragmatic solution for me work-wise and client cost-wise. Is this a reasonable approach?

Don't worry about balancing , you'll never achieve it with single phase ,just go for it .   Try not to mix the phases in one room .

Just saying ...some of the newer, powerfull hobs have a 3ph connection option .
