Yet another Quango type outfit  has been created by the  ECA....The JIB....The JTL   :C   (?)  ...National Electrotechnical Training  ( NET) ...  SummitSkills and  Unite the Union.

Its called  The Electrictechnical Skills Partnership ( TESP )   apparently .

I really couldn't be bothered to read on to see what it's purpose is .

( How did we manage without it I ask ?) :C

Is that still the case Kerch ?      My mate is always saying they are no longer a charity .

Wikipedia  has it as owned by Electrical Safety Council    and Certsure .   :C

i thought there was some mention of 'we are a charidddddddy' when Emma was on that parliamentary select committee farce last year

if she wants a "donation"  I would be only to happy to oblige...once RR has finished with me

how do we weedle out of that what they paid themselves for running this chariddddddddy?

What happens to the profits from all the gear & tools  they sell then ?

Is Certsure a charity  then ?       How is it  a company is created , that then somehow "Owns " a charity as in NICEIC ?

Is Nappett a charity then ?

Edit :-  Thanks  Specs.

So a charity can be a limited Company then  ?

So what is Asertiva Ltd  ?   So really  NICEIC, ECA , ESC, ELECSA, CERTSURE  ,  ASCERTIVA  all the same then ?

Why is it a charity ?

Does the gas industry have all these different set ups  or is it just Gas Safe. ?

Thanks ,  I think you're right there Specs ,  the way they push their catalogue stuff  it must be profit making .

I still have this problem though ,  charities I understand ...as in  ,  local hospice ,  NSPCC, RSPCA,  cancer charities  etc so why is NICEIC set up as a charity , ?

Just wondering .

( And the only trade scheme I ever heard of in the Gas industry  is Gorgi  & Gas Safe )

(And theres some sort of Federation for Plumbers  I believe)

We must have 1000 of 'em .

This is what annoys me about some of the top Charities, when you read that the top people running them are being paid like £125k per year.

It makes you wonder like for every £1 donated only 1p goes to the cause the rest is so called overheads.
