Evening,

Anyone recognise this conductor rail & junction box? The pick up is AKAPP. But AKAPP themselves don't recognise the broken jb so thinking the rail might not be theirs. Though it's similar it lacks the usual large AKAPP sticker that's usually on each rail.

Cheers

On a gut feel I ended up going back to AKAPP in The Netherlands and asking "........are you sure this isn't a discontinued line of yours?". Their guru there recognised it. The UK agent sales people were basically all too young to remember it.

The guy overseas uncovered the last 26 units at the back of some warehouse.

All good!

I don't know why but I keep ending up with a lot of "these are the last of our stock" parts, if only I could remember where they were now, and if they are rare and expensive.

£40 ish per unit which I thought was very good with a two week delivery. I think in this case it was quite genuine. I was actually sourcing them for a mate. He'd tried the UK supplier (Metreel) who I've dealt with for about 25 years myself and had no luck. Always found them very genuine myself. So I approached The Netherlands direct.

If I phone my local Schneider supplier I can call my long term contact who's in his 50's and just say "Hello Pete, I want a 4 way yellow pendant, E/S, NO and NC blocks". He just knows I'll want it non keyed and with a shroud. If I get one of the youngsters they want the part numbers.
