Morning all,

I am in the middle of installing an H&V panel at an hotel part of this panel has controls for various equipment located throughout the hotel the control cables being multicore 20,12 core. These being existing cables which are being relocated to the new panel.

Managed to dig out the original drawings and one of these mentions a 4c 1.5mm Aluminic cable which i have not been able to locate.

It would help if i knew what an Aluminic cable was?

anyone?

Still Learning

Yes i would agree. If you google aluminic one of the online dictionaries define it as something containing aluminium. It could be FP200 even .

Thanks for the replies the installtion dates from 1992 not sure if FP was around then.

I am digging deeper into this panels control wiring and hopefuly I will come across it by a process of elimination.

cheers

I was installing FP200 in the early 80s so it's certainly been around for a while.
