I got my apprenticeship just before I turned 25, it's harder bud not impossible, money is **** atm but I'm just pushing through and soaking up as much knowledge at college as i can and getting good hands on experience. At the end of it there will be good money though. My advice to you, is never give up, you are not too old, and if you keeping trying, you will get it! I'm a typical example of that lol

Good luck bud

I've just got onto an apprenticeship at 23.

Was offered a couple of others aswell, but took the one with (what seemed to me) the best experience I could get, also I beat a couple of lads who had 1 or 2 years apprenticeship experience compared my lack of!

Just been keen and actually be interested in what the apprenticeship offers and hopefully you'll come across as a good investment, which is ultimately what an apprenticeship is.

What have you done since leaving school? Hopefully you havent been sat on your back side playing call of duty for 4 years. I would try and use your age to your advantage, at 21 you will be so much more mature than 16/17 year olds and more experienced at life?
