Tuesday saw me working in Warwickshire , supply to roadside farm shop .   An old guy comes in to buy veg. etc and introduces himself as a Sparks ...81 yrs old ...still working !   Really says I .    Yes still do a bit ........made me feel quite young .  

Theres only Stepps I can think of  older than him  , still working . :innocent

Anyone better that ?

I think you'd be right there Dave ,  probably working to the 14th  edition .     He said he started as an apprentice with a B,ham contractor , working Birmingham University ,  that would be 1948 if he was 15.

I even remember when the NIC logo was a sort of circular shield type,affair with a lightning flash running through it ( i think?)

I got a logo but its the one we all know .     As for Captain Marvel ....he seems to have become rather effeminate these days .

I was thinking of the last set of Regs he would have been working to at retirement age which would have been 1998,  so he would have finished off with the 16th  I think .
