Hi, i have recently purchased a redi-line 12v-240v motor generator, i need to replace the bridge rectifier(e62320) with a new one. i have bought a replacement but it is a 3 phase one(36mt160). the new one has 5 terminals as opposed to 4 on the old unit. Also, on the old unit the dc + and - are joined together by soldering. any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Unless i am misreading this ....all e62320 rectifiers are 5 pin

why did you buy a 3 phase unit when you wanted a single phase one?

Also, on the old unit the dc + and - are joined together by soldering

have an other look at this ,if this was the case then you would blowup the bridge
