I've just bought an iPad, only a 16Gb WiFi - I don't need anything more especially as I can tether it to my phones WiFi hotspot..

I'm now in the process of reducing all the paperwork that I carry and looking for apps that will help me... so I was wondering what any other iPad / iPhone users have that they find useful.

I have scoured the forum and can't find anything, so if anyone can help???

I did try out the android tablets at the gadget show and either they didn't have the apps or they were rather laggy..

BTW you know I'm not a fanboy and that I have a rooted HTC Desire,,, but this thing is good

Why do people constantly compare ipad and android devices that are not of equal status?

I tried those and to be honest they are utter tosh,, the Motorolla Xoom and ASUS eee pad were a bit laggy TBH and IMHO their word processing and spreadsheet apps are not as good as you can get on the iPad

I'm not saying that the iPad is perfect,,, no sd card slot, no USB port and you have to use iTunes to transfer files... Although you can transfer them through dropbox or email

Oh,and mine doesn't have 3G or AGPS so mr Jobs can't see where I am unless I'm logged onto a broadband connection

TBH I don't think I'd need the SD card adaptor...at the moment all my work stuff doesn't even fill up a 2Gb pen drive

he's the only person that has an ipad that hasnt realised its best use is as an ashtray/wonky table leg support/coaster/doorstop/frisbee/dog toy/insert your own use here , or simply use it as it was intended, as a spy kit for big brother.

@Steps you can now use them as Cake and Pizza slicers I hear, and looks like iPad3 will have a serrated edge for those really tricky cuts
