Can I ask what you mean by this? I thought reference methods were just basically just accounting for the route the cable takes?
(I'm still learning so genuine question)
Whereby the cpc maybe the conduit or the sheath of a cable, in these instances a cpc is required from the accessory to the back box. I probably should have recorded it better.

Ah I've seen this mentioned, so you could run jus line and neutral in metal conduit and use the conduit itself as the CPC?
(I know we're going off subject for the thread, just interested)
