Auger Bits & Holesaws

Hi guys, am looking to buy a holesaw kit and an auger bit set, just wondered what you guys think are the best makes or value for money?

Best auger are the Irwin ones. A cross between an auger bit and a spade bit.

Not cheap but good (see the reviews under the item on SF if you don't believe me!)

Some speak highly of the Dewalt spade bits

I like the bosch quickchange holesaw kits not that cheap but good. Best auger bits are marples now part of irwin group as patch said the irwin ones are good but I think the marples ones last a lot longer but beware of nails because they wreck them.

Agreed, they are good but when they start to get hot, STOP, if you go too far they are destroyed very quickly!

i like bosch self cut, cheap from the wholesalers, work well and dont wreck your drill.
