Bad(ish) day

I didn't have a great day today,,

First job went really well,

Second job I turn up and the homowner calls me to say that they forgot to leave me the key so could I pop down to their shop to get the key. As it's only 5mins down the road I went and got it, back to the job and do the outside bit, then on to the inside bits... Key in door, won't turn - but they did say that it stuck a bit so I give it a bit more... snap give key back and arrange to go back after the lock had been replaced

Drive 30 mins to the next job,, lights tripping out in shops store room... Must have ben a 10 or 12 foot ceiling and I only took my short steps

So to try and recover something from the trip I call a guy who might have a mast for me, he tells me where it is and says go an have a look.... It was only 18 foot long, the bottom 4 foot had been snapped off

Ah well, I did get myself a Macky D's coffee while I was out so not a total waste

should deal direct with CPC... order before 6pm and its there next day

my day didnt go fully to plan either... morning job cancelled due to high winds...

Just a local independant mate, got 3 stores IIRC.

The thing is they ordered it early last week, the parcel came on Friday and the switch wasn't in it. CPC had put the wrong item on the invoice but didn't even send that out. The wholesaler phoned them up to sort it at 8am on Monday and as of today it still hadn't turned up today.

The switch is something like this

APEM|A018301|18DIA, 2-POSITION KEY SWITCH | CPC

One reason for getting things like this from the wholesaler is because there is often no one in at out house to take the parcel in

It was a bit windy today,, the sailing club also asked me why I didn't have a look at their camera,,, FFS I am not going 10 foot up a ladder leaning on a lamp post in these winds
