Basic isense question

Can a Baxi isense RF receiver be directly replaced with a Hive receiver. Isense has 2 wires connected to the OT ( Open Therm) terminals within the receiver unit and nothing else?
I assume this is some sort of bus connection system ( and not just a pair to fire the boiler ) as there is no separate power supply to the receiver unit

I have not yet seen the setup and am presently doing this remotely as the job is 50 miles away

Is it just a case of putting the NEST ( in my case HIVE) Common and boiler demand connections in place of the isense receiver? Obviously having got a mains supply to the Hive. After all it's only a volt free switch on each of NEST and HIVE

I've read loads of stuff on it since my original post.
Decision has been made to fit the hive as he has already bought it, Going with my Gas Safe man today as he is due to service boiler anyway
