I've been contacted recently by email from a guy looking to buy a second home in my area and wanting a quote for  a rewire. The email looked good, I like to think I'm reasonably computer savvy and I had no reason to suspect a scam. The number lloked like a mobile, starting 070 so I called to arrange a visit. I called the number twice and got an answer phone each time. This raised my suspicion so I googed the number to find it's a premium rate that can be £350 per minute! As it was is cost me £3 for both calls. The number has been reported to OFCOM but watch out for these 070 numbers!
