We used to have a thriving Steel Industry ( well we used to have INDUSTRY full stop!)
now we are having HST2. and most likely will be unable to make the rails ourselves

Yeah but look on the bright side ... we can travel between the derelict industrial sites at 200mph .....as we rocket up and down the country , famous places will flash by ....OOoooh look Manchester , they used to make cotten there , young 'un ....... EEee loook they used to mek steel there .... now then ...wasn't this a dockyard that employed thousands of men and made famous ships....aye I think it were thus knows .

Perhaps with the HST2 we will all work in London in the money markets ...where all the wealth is made ....Oh no can't do that 'cos we've come out of the EU and lost the esteem the London stock Exchange once had .
