Hi all

I will be upgrading the bonding to the water when I fit a new board. I have noticed that the supplementary bonding in the bathrrom is there, but it will end up being boxed in under the bath. Would it be better to extend the bonding so it can be seen?

Thanks

Malc

I would say leave it mate

If your changing the board to 17th ed regs then as i took it supplementary bonding was no longer required as all circuits in bathroom will be protected by 30ma rcd.

See what some of the others say but thats what i,d do.

Because there are only six circuits and only four of them will be in use, I am going to put in RCBO's to cover the RCD bit.

To replace it would be difficult with where it is.

Just leave it if everything is RCD protected technically its probably not needed anymore don't make work for yourself.
