Brick lights

OK. Did some fault finding for a customer last week and they have 2 brick lights that need replacing - I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a low profile unit that would cover the entire opening and allow fixings into the remaining bricks?

Watching with interest, I need some bricklights too to replace ones in may garden, updating to LED at the same time.

A few years ago i wired a load of lights in my mates driveway. Looped in at each point and a brick left out at each location as the wall was being built.
Could we find a bricklight the size of a brick with flanges on each side? Could we fudge

I have just ordered some of these following you prompting me to search again LOL

These are slightly bigger than a standard brick and would cover the missing brick hole plus cement. I plan to fasten them into my existing missing brick holes using some spacers and screws through the back.

they look half decent.

I would suggest drilling a small drain hole in the bottom edge, something like 3mm. I've rarely found any outdoor light to be truely waterproof, and it also allows condensation to escape. My other fave trick is to clear silicone the join between the brick wall and the top of the fitting to prevent/ reduce water ingress behind the unit.

Good points, the ones I've ordered do have some drain slots at the bottom.

Never used any of their brick lights... but I have ordered various fittings from Lyco in the past with no problems.

Fitted 3 of these to my mother in law's house a few years back. 2 units have been replaced since. Not easy to seal on rustic bricks
