Ongoing loft conversion...... which is to have a spiral staircase

problem we have is where to put the light switch without the stairs being in..

I suggested a pull switch which can be used as you climb the stairs

Builder says :-

' I dont think the customer will like that because.................'

A scoob for the person who gets it right ...

it will be in a different room, once we move the stairs & build a wall we never told you about

part p says your not allowed pullcords unless its in a bathroom
