Well ooooop eeeeeeeeeer int north that would be Footprints or Dogs!

Stiil, have my Dogs from when i was an apprentice. Sprayed them in BMC Old English white to match my Mini

Mind you, though but, i REALLY like the Bahco with the extended jaw opening. Small wrench with a big mouth. F handy for SWAs

Just got an Irwin one, opens to about 60mm but on a 10" adjustable

Just saying

No  never heard of "Shifters"

Footprints.... yes ..what most of us use for conduit .

Stillsons are what pipe fitters use ...No 12s  no,14s etc

And an ajustable spanner is ....an ajustable spanner .

Water pump grips used mainly on SWA glands .

Anyone use "Gilboes"  ?

:red card

REVO.... that howler has not gone unnoticed.

A Shifter here means a F big hammer.

Did you know the Yanks call an adjustable spanner an English Key?

And do you know what a King **** spanner is? Do you have one?

Gilbows also known as tin snips.

Water pump pliers also known as slip jaws or eagle beaks or plumbers pliers or Gordons.

I have a King **** set of BA open spinners that go down to 8 or 10 BA and that does look tiny tended only to use the 0, 2 and 4 BA.

This thread is digressing nicely, next we will be talking about stripping pokers for pyro.
