Hi guys, first post so Hi to all. I live in Suffolk and mainly work on domestic stuff. I've just purchased a new Megger 1552 with calibration certificate but can't find on it the date for the next calibration. Is it an annual thing or should I check with my certification body as to their requirements?

Cheers

As Andy they need to be calibrated annually as if you go on some factory sites they want to see your calibration certificates should they decide to audit you.

Hi Willy, I purchased a new megger 1552 a few months back and inside was a certificate of calibration, if you look at the box in the top right corner you will see a date tested, this is when it was tested before it was boxed for sale, underneath you will find the date commisioned box, this is where you should put the date you started using the tester, then every year from that date you must have the tester calibrated. This is because the company gaurantee the tester calibration for one year on commisioning by the owner. I hope this helps (Meerkat) ;) :D
