What do you think Rev......
I have just been thinking about some of the funny things which have happened to me in my life and this one I think Rev would appreciate. :innocent
I was brought up a strict Catholic boy being sent off to church several times a week and confession every Friday without fail.
Every Sunday we kids would return from church to be questioned by Dad as to the colour of the priest's robes and what the priest talked about. Dad did this to make sure we did in fact attend the mass but you know what, he never ever came with us. ?:|
Our local Catholic school was just a short walk from our house and in those days it was heated by a coal furnace with the coal being left out in the yard behind the school.
Dad had this great idea that he could get a coal supply from behind the school when it was dark outside and took me with him sack and shovel in hand.
He did this a number of times I lost count of how many but one day he sent me off to confession. (see good catholic family we is huh) when I return home he starts his questions.
Did you confess everything says Dad.
Yes says me hoping to avoid that hand of his from contacting my rear end.
Are you sure says Dad.
Well now I was just fed up with it so came right out and said.......
YES I blooming well did Dad.......
I even told him about us stealing his coal...........OUCH....that hand hurts. ?:|
