Is it possible to make a cat5 into a VGA cable without using any extenders? I've seen some adaptors that take cat5 in one end and the other end is VGA. What is the max length of cat5 I could use without getting a bad picture?

CPC do a wide range VGA over cat5, plus HDMI over cat6.

For Sky I've used Milestone Blue Delta Master and Slave Scart over cat5, works very well and includes magic eyes.

I would recommend Ebuyer.com for all PC type goods. Extremely cheap considering the good quality of the gear you can get there.

90m of cat5 without using any extenders?
Edit : I think it was 90ft so 30M, as with the HDMI, although with the HDMI we fed through powered units.

From what I've read it's interference that's the big issue, so using FTP and not UTP is a must.

We always use FTP anyway just in case they want to push Sky through instead of date or phone.
