CCTV ptz camera

Hi guys hope you may be able to help?

Although I am a sparky I have had little or no dealings with CCTV. I have just purchased quite a decent system for my house with a 16 ch odyssey DVR and including a twilight ptz camera which I'm abit lost with as the instructions arnt great. Could do with knowing how to wire the ptz and if I have to configure any settings on the DVR? Got picture but cannot control the ptz? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Setting up a PTZ  is easy if you follow the correct proceedure. step 1 set the protocol at the camera (or see what the default is and use that)

2. set the camera number first PT^Z is camera one (not to be confused with channel number)

3. Set the Controller protocol (either use a seperate controller or the PTZ control in the DVR

4 The RS485 control works using a single pair of wires (UTP is suitable) making sure the polarity is correct at either end

You're done.
