Does anyone no the bs number for a chint rcd, i cannot find it anywere.

cheers

Yes its the same for all RCDs, like its the same for all MCB's

The BS numbers relate to the actual standards for such things like rcd, mcb and other switching stuff.

So for a chint rcd the BS number would be 61009

No not really, thanks andy my mistake long day today PIR, on a factory with no labels, no circuit diagrams, 1970's obsolete switch gear old type 3 BS 3871 breakers, BILL old style rewireables all over the place with what looks like 4mm single copper cable to rewire a 100amp fuse on a 3 phase board.

Then I had a 25mm nuetral to a DB and only 1 4mm netral fed off it to supply about 8 machines.

Now I do have an headache
