Hi All,

I'm currently doing year 2 2330 and an ECITB NVQ (installing and commissioning plant. Serving my apprenticeship on a petro chem site. I've just found that the once I qualify I will be an electrical fitter which would be great if I had a guaranteed job but as you know in contacting nothing is guaranteed.

Could you give me a list of courses that I would need to complete to for instance get my JIB card (as they do not recognise electrical fitter as a trade).

A list of all courses (and approx costs) that you can think of would be great as I want to complete them alongside my level 3 and on completion of level 3 (so the expense can be spread out).

Any help would be great

Thanks

C & G 2330 level 2 & 3

NVQ level 3 (electrical installation)

17th edition wiring regs

2391 inspection & testing

This will get you a "qualified electrician" card. (gold card)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. The framework that I am on also doesn't include the am2 is this a must? I believe this is around

AM2 if under 24 when doing your NVQ (over 24 it's not a must)

2382-12
