Hello everyone,

I have been busy these last few months doing my 'teacher training'.

As a lot of you know, i enjoy writing and did start a tips and tricks book a while back, but it is just too 'big' to be done while doing my 'cert ed'

However, a teacher said a couple of days ago "What we could really do with is a part p doctor style 2382 manual". now this is very 'do-able' and is something i can jot down easily in my down times.

I have started it today telling all the stories I do in class so it should turn out well. i have the first four pages down in draft already:Applaud

However, once again I have a mental block with a title.

I have read all the 2382 books by the established authors and they make me ill. Very rigid, dry and with no anecdotes to back up why a reg is written. i shall tell the whole story.....

my working title is:

"The 17th Edition Deciphered!

A guide to the proper understanding of UK electrical regulations.... and then passing that exam!

By Alan 'Part P Doctor' Lynch"

I reckon i can get this done within 3 months and it would be totally unique but i need something 'catchy' and needs the doctor thing in it. A free of charge copy to the best suggestions- i will rank a top 3!

best wishes

alan

will send more later, brain needs a rest, cheers (MEERKAT)

I think that it has to have the following keywords in the title and sub titles somewhere..

  • 17th Edition
  • Made Easy or Easy to understand
  • 2382 (preferrable City & Guilds 2382 [if you are allowed to use that]
  • Alan Lynch - The Part P Doctor [Trade mark name and respected Author]
And inside the cover of this and all other books (etc)

:Blushing O) :innocent

How about....An examination of the 17th edition,

by the Part P Doctor

Or am I banned from further comps???
ROTFWL

I KNOW the winning title...... :Blushing

However, until I am appraised of the (significant?? Guinness ) prize for providing it,

I shall keep it a secret. :innocent ]:)

[ go on.........wot`s it worth????] :Blushing :BlushingB-) :coat

Right, you sad git, just a few quick points:

1. the link you sent wouldn't let me in til i registered.

2. i am now impersonating an electrician which is probably an imprisonable offence.

3. how dare you edit your younger, cleverer, more beautiful sister off that photograph.

4. will get back to you re a title but i suppose i won't be allowed to win as it will breach your T&Cs
