Conduit Corrosion

Found this while stripping out for a toilet block refurb...

Thankfully its all coming out, but i wonder how long the hand dryers have been using a corroded through conduit for an earth...

Probable been like that for decades, shows the need for an EICR every 5 years

Yeah, sadly only had camera on phone and a head torch for illumination. Conduit was laying lose on floor in a service duct, getting kicked about. Surprisingly hadn't cut through insulation.

I work on a port and conduit is no good outside at all even galv, just doesnt last. Has to be SWA on S/S perforated tray to have any longevity!
