Hi all,

I've just completed a board change at a flat, and currently filling out the cert. The tails from the meter cupboard are a 16mm live cable with several strands for the neutral and earth.

Just wondering what I put in the cert box for supply conductor size.

Cheers

Still 16mm

And split con is not allowed..... So, i would not be turning the power back on and notifying the DNO, as it was obviously stolen from them, and they will want to be turning the power off.

john...

????

You can get concentric and split concentric from any supplier. The only one that shouldn’t be used is the plain concentric due to it being a PEN conductor.

Split concentric should be regarded as the same as T+E when it comes to RCD protection for cables in walls.

Agree with Tony here, nothing wrong with using split con. It's more expensive than T+E so I don't know why you would as it doesn't offer any particular advantage installation wise.

There's nothing wrong with using it though.
