Hi all

im gonna do a big push on letting agents and try and get a bit more business but i cant decide if i should write to them or email them.

i also havent got a clue what to write!

if anyone could give me some advice on this it would be wicked. do you think it should be a marketing type letter or an open 'from one business to another' type letter?

cheers

Neil

Etc Etc me dinners ready

First contact should always be by letter.

An e-mail could be dismissed as spam mail.

Yor letter should be on headed paper and should include all your servises, and why you are better than the others in your area.

Keep it as short and to the point as you can, a well written carefully worded letter is better than a long epilog.

It would be good to follow up your letter after say a week has passed to see what they think of your proposals and if they show any interest in your work.

cheers guys! sounds like a good place to start! :)

ok as its just me would you use "we" and write it like you would a website i should i go for more of a personal angle and just stick with "me, myself & I"

im only going to be targeting the smaller agents for now.

I always use the plural , just feel it sounds more professional , although two other local one man bands work with me on a regular basis . Perhaps a small letting agency would look favourably on a one man outfit ,on the assumtion you may be cheaper than N.G Bailey & Co.
