What is the best practical solution for making a resistance, upon which, during working 123V falls and 20mA currentflows, if I only have resistors 1W?

a)   6 x 1 Kohm resistors connected in "series".

b)   1 x 2.2 Kohm and 1 x 3.3 Kohm resistors connected in "series"

c)   2 x 2.2 Kohm and 1 x 1.2 Kohm resistors connected in "series"

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

John P.

Sounds like a college homework question to me. The forum is not a homework answering service.  However if you post your calculation(s) and potential answer. Then other memebrs are more willing to offer help.
