got this cu change coming up, prob should have took the cover off when i was there but i did'nt. anyway i thinking the conduit is redundant as there is ample twin and earth going in for 6 mcb, but you never know. say it is in use, whats the best option, terminate into box or straight into the new cu?

thanks

thanks mate sounds good if its in use, if not then hacksaw

Depends on the space, I'd have whipped the lid off and had a look, if they're inuse fit a metalclad CU, if not fit an insulated one.

What's the earthing type?

metal clad cu would be a good space saver
