Dead Testing Led Lighting Ciircuits

How do you  go about dead testing LED lighting circuits when you could have several e.g. 10 or more on the same circuit in a room?. In the old days of wire through ceiling roses you may have had maybe one or two roses to a room. I suppose with the GU10 type LED you just plug your adapter into the socket but on the complete unit type of LED e.g. halers I presume it is more involved.
