I have a customer who wants to change all of their switches/sockets to brass finish ones. Have showed them screfix ranges and various ones from wholesalers but the wifey isn't taken by any of them.

Anyone know of any 'different' suppliers, I think they would be happy to pay a price on them if they met the wifey's high standards. Big, old house, both doctors...

Have you looked at Hamilton, I like them. Got them from Wilts so you may have already suggested those ones?

Can be worth sending people to B&Q purely because thay have a large display, failing that look at MK catalogue (ouch)

just make sure the cables and points are earthed before you order the switches and sockets etc

And if they go for flat plate boxes are deep enough.

Im installing a house with chrome flat plate now, pain in the ass but i learnt my lesson with them from the last job i did with these, i now take my time getting the back box spot on and use bonding so they dont move.

The back boxes only have to be slightly off level and they look ****, you cant move them as they insert into the back boxes.
