Ok here we have a way of getting some form of IP rating to a not long enough charging lead (not done by me I hasten to add, but was done by somebody who should know better).

So the vehicle needs putting on charge but rather than move the wagon closer we shall extend the 25 meter lead by any means available.

Still not long enough.........use this short lead......

& plug the rcd 3 pin lead into it...................oh no it's now outside over night............so lets weatherproof it.

There sorted the site owners (think big green fighting machine) will be ok as the cables are pat tested & the cone will advise of the trip hazzard.

Overall not perfect but good effort, score as follows;

Aesthetics; 7/10 Alternating black and white leads is a clever social statement on ethnic harmony and the plight of the Zebra as a species. The plastic and duct tape job is pretty good by most standards

Danger; 6/10 Loose leads and trailing socket on staircase plus beautifully moistened grass are both nice touches. Plastic and duct tape is good looking but actually too thorough to score good marks in this category.

Conveyed Message; 8/10 The aerial section between a rock and a hard place is a point scorer in my book reflecting the place of the installer at the start of the job. Overall the set up shows a strong middle finger to H&S but the cone to attract attention and ensure the message doesn't go unnoticed is a stroke of genius. The in-line RCD is usually a crowd pleaser but for me in this particular case it dilutes the H&S message somewhat; hence the less than perfect score in this category.

Overall Score 7/10. Definitely an installer worth keeping an eye out for in future.

Whilst I agree 100% with your evaluation Marvo, I do feel you may have missed some of the artistic interpretation of the theme of safety, rather than the actual safety aspect itself. The use of materials and textures, which could be of benefit to improve the experience for partially sighted persons following the cable is very well executed, we can see internal floors and steps, carpet, external paths and steps, slabs, concrete, grass. It is without doubt a far superior interpretation than the basic lead out of the kitchen window, across the lawn to the shed. So on that additional merit possibly the score could be considered 8/10 rather than your 7/10?
