Doing level 3 city and guilds at 50 years of age

Hello, I m just completing my city and guilds level 2 year , and am applying for level 3 in september. I m 50 yrs old but fit and have a young attitude, i live in london.....I m looking for advice on how I should find my way into the industry, at present i sell kitchens.

I cant give advice on finding a job, bt i just completed the level 2 at the age of 52 and am just about to embark on the level 3 so your not alone.

Welcome to the forum Paul. Not easy to get into industry at present a lot of people are in your situation. You may be able to keep present job and help a spark out at weekends although a lot don't work weekends. What are you hoping to do when you get qualified ie house bashing or commercial work.

Welcome aboard paul . Try and get as much hands on experience as You can because that's where You learn lots and if You get stuck on anything which You will then there's always someone to give You advice on here . Experience is the thing and We all have to start somewhere
